Green Credentials of Whitemoss Eco Lodges

We care about the environment and are participating in Scotland’s drive to net zero by 2045.

We all have a choice to reduce emissions, and we know that many of our customers are equally committed. Please take a look at the initiatives that we have implemented below.

We are on a journey and are always looking for new ways that our lodges can help the environment, a big thank you to all our guests who play their part in this during a stay at Whitemoss Lodge.

EV Charging at Perthshire Eco Lodges


  • Our Eco Pods were a first of their kind in Scotland, designed and built by Eco Pod Design. They are built sustainably and are well insulated keeping them cosy in winter.

  • We use refillable toiletries from local supplier The Scottish Fine Soaps, which reduces plastic waste and travel distance.

  • Our eco showers deliver just the right amount of water without wastage.

  • Our pods have low-electricity bulbs, and the bathroom lights automatically switch off when not in use

  • We have a mini recycling centre on site for guests to use.

  • Our breakfast containers and packaging are fully recyclable or reusable

  • We use eco cleaning products wherever possible

  • All the pods are heated by infrared panels, a low emission heating system. The infrared panels heat objects directly, rather than heating the air like other heating sources. This means the warmth generated by the panels cannot be lost through draughts, minimising energy wastage.

  • In 2023 we added solar panels and car charging stations, a clean and green alternative to fossil fuels

  • Romantic Stay

    Had a wonderful stay in the lodge. It was so peaceful with beautiful views. The bed was really comfortable and the shower room clean and spacious. Our host was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast delivered in a basket was such a nice touch. We plan to stay again!

  • Cosy & Private Lodge

    I had such a relaxing time at Whitemoss! I wanted to have a few days away and chose Whitemoss due to it's location and all the positive reviews. The pod was excellent - cosy but spacious. It was immaculate. I had my own hot tub which was so nice to use and was completely private.

  • Amazing Hot Tub

    Stayed here for on evening with my partner, and what can I say……..amazing friendly service, spotless rooms which are modern and an amazing hot tub to relax and let the hours pass. Will definitely be back. If you get a chance to stay here, we would highly recommend!
